Mission given to Saudi Arabia

On 2nd of January, total of 47 people executed on same day by Saudi Arabia Government. IS is used to execute such high number of people at the same time or day. There was one well-known Shia Clerk, Nimr al Nimr among these people. Why Saudi Arabia executed him although it is easy to guess that Iran and Shias in the region would react negatively. What motivates Saudi Arabia to increase the tension with Iran while there are a lot serious problems in the region?

In order to understand why Saudi Arabia behaved and behaves in a strange way, one needs to understand the geo-political games in the region well.

Early 1990s, a new plan which was called “Greater Middle East “was developed by the Western World. The objective of that plan were;

• To create Israel friendly Kurdistan
• To control the energy resources

However, a reason was needed to change the regimes and borders in the region. All of suddenly, a rich Saudi citizen, Osama Bin Laden, managed to organize a very complicated attack on 11 September 2001. Immediately, world powers announced a war against to all terrorist organizations and countries supporting such organizations. United Nations Security Council Members agreed that they can do military operations in other countries, if they think there is a threat for global peace and security. As a result, NATO forces arrived Afghanistan.

Then somehow, Saddam was announced as a dangerous dictator who should be eliminated. As a result, a multi-national military operation was organized to kill Saddam and his troops. We all knew what happened to Saddam. But most interesting outcome of this military operation was establishment of Kurdish Government at Northern Iraq. Saudi Arabia openly supported NATO forces and provided all needed logistics.

By this way, first step of creating Kurdistan was done by NATO members. Then the next step was to create United States of Kurdistan by including the Kurds living in Syria, Iran and Turkey.

The next Shia leader in the target was Bashar Al Assad after the elimination of Saddam Husain. It was not difficult to find a reason; Bashar Al-Assad is dictator and people of Syria was suffering under his dictatorship. We all knew what happened in Syria since so called Arab Spring started. But, as soon as conflict started in the country, an autonomous Kurdish region announced by the Kurdish forces at Northern Syria. Very interestingly, Saudi Arabia was again in the front line and supporting the NATO military operations in Syria.

So, the second part of the puzzle was completed successfully. However, the third and fourth parts are not easy to complete the puzzle. Because, it is not easy to find a way to expand lands of Kurdistan to Iran and Turkey.

Winds of Arab spring didn’t reach to Iran. A new strategy was needed to weaken and divide Iran. The only way to achieve is to create a chaos in the country through a Shia-Sunni war. Saudi Arabia made its role once again and executed a well – known Shia Clerk on 2 January 2016.

There are Kurdish population at Western Iran and Turkmenistan border area. In addition, there is a Balucha population at Eastern part of the country. Both Kurds and Baluchs are Sunni. Any ethnic war in the region can cause a civil war inside Iran as well. If this happens, Kurds living at Western Iran can declare an autonomous Kurdish region. In addition to this, Baluchistan country can be established at Eastern Iran. So, Iran might be divided into three in-line with the Greater Middle East Plan. In near future, we will see if this plan would work or not.

Probably, most difficult part of the puzzle will be expansion of the Kurdistan to Turkey. For the time being, Turkey and Saudi Arabia relations are very good. In addition to this, Turkey- EU and Turkey – USA relations are also good. Furthermore, Turkey is a member of NATO. Therefore, it is not easy to expand the lands of Kurdistan to Turkey. However, it is a fact that Saudi Arabia is part of Greater Middle East Plans. It is also fact that EU and US supports the establishment of Kurdistan in the region. So, that means soon or later, Turkey and its current close alliances will come to a difficult road junction. When this happens, either Turkey will decide to cut the relations with these countries or some-how agree with them. First option is not possible given that Turkish economy is totally depends on EU and US.

But there is one fact that Greater Middle East Plan is working well so far; United States of Kurdistan is almost established and most of the energy resources in the Middle East are being controlled by Western Companies.

As for Saudi Arabia, country plays an important role to create enemies (like IS) or chaos to pave the road in line with the strategies of Western World and Israel.

The borders in Middle East and Gulf region were drawn by non-Muslims with the help of Arab tribes many years ago. It seems that history will repeat again but this time instead of tribes, role is given to Saudi Arabia.
