Mapping of Services for Victims of Explosive Ordnance in Ukraine
Objective of the Study
The study's goal is to map and analyze the existing services that are already available in Ukraine for victims of Explosive Ordnance (EO) and explosive weapons. These services are provided by the government (both within and outside of the state budget), international non-governmental organizations, local and national non-profits for victims of EO and explosive weapons, and other groups in Ukraine. These services will be transferred to a GIS -based map platform which is compatible with the systems used by the Government partners The study also wants to find out what the people of Ukraine need, want, can, and can't get from these services.
Specific objectives are
- Undertake an investigation pertaining to extant services, service providers, and deficiencies in the following domains: health care (including prosthetics, treatment, and rehabilitation), psychosocial support, retraining and employment, targeted, multipurpose, and humanitarian financial assistance, social services, and legal aid for victims of explosive ordnance and explosive weapons in Ukraine
- Assemble data about the requirements, expectations, capabilities, and resources of victims of explosive ordnance and EO, as addition to the obstacles and facilitators that impede their access to such services
- Determine the requirements, needs, demands, capabilities, and resources of victims of explosive ordnance and EO, in addition to the obstacles and facilitators that impede their access to such services and their capacities
